Five-Year Summary Report 1994-1998
The Sacramento Constructed Wetlands Demonstration Project is a five-year project of the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District that was conducted from January 1994 to December 1998. The emphasis of the project was on describing how treatment wetlands remove trace metals. Objectives of the project are:
- Monitor, analyze and describe how treatment wetlands improve water quality
- Identify what happens to trace metals within treatment wetlands
- Develop and evaluate treatment wetlands management methods with emphasis on:
- Vegetation and Biota
- Wetland Habitat Management
- Hydraulic Management
- Vegetation Management
- Vector and Pest Control
- Water Quality
- Sediment Quality
- Hydraulic Monitoring
