Program Facts

• Initiated in 1991.
• 5 Sampling sites: Veterans Bridge, Freeport Bridge, River Mile 44, Nimbus Dam and Discovery Park.
• Water samples are tested for approximately 70 parameters at each site with an additional 250 parameters analyzed during expanded events that occur three times a year.
• Monitoring currently takes place on a bi-monthly basis (6 times per year).
