The Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District is proud to present "Focus Factor: Wastewater Treatment," a 24-minute video* created for youth, ages 8 to 12 (but enjoyable for "kids" of all ages!). Click on the "Focus Factor" image above and learn about both the history of sewers worldwide and Sacramento Region's wastewater collection and treatment activities. Find out what happens to wastewater once it leaves your home. Learn how SRCSD's staff works with nature to clean wastewater and safely return it to the Sacramento River. Find out what's being done in your area to conserve water and how you can be an environmental steward in your home and environment.
