SRCSD's Green Efforts
The Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District (SRCSD) believes in the importance of environmental protection. Our dedicated staff maintains a strong environmental ethic with the goal of protecting the environment through a number of District-sponsored programs. These programs are designed to help manage the Sacramento River watershed, ensure habitat restoration and management on District-owned lands, and renew riparian forests and restore native grasslands. SRCSD also manages a number of successful recycling programs and pilot environmental projects.
