The Bradshaw Interceptor sewer, section 6A is a critical link in the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District (SRCSD) Wastewater Conveyance System. This section is a portion of the larger Bradshaw/Folsom Interceptor pipeline that will convey wastewater flows from the northeast area of Sacramento County, including Folsom, to the Sacramento Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant near Elk Grove.

Section 6A consists of approximately 15,000 feet of 108-inch diameter sanitary sewer at an average depth of 30 feet. The section includes the crossing of three high-voltage transmission easements, 5 creek channels, and one railroad easement.

Section 6A has been completed and the pipeline installed.

Major Milestones:

Fall 2003 Final Design Completed
Early 2005 Construction Began
Late 2006 Completion

Project Funding

  • This project will not result in any direct charges to existing property owners.
  • Section 6A will be funded through SRCSD impact (hook-up) fees paid by new system customers.
