UNWI 1 & 2 - Part of the Elkhorn and Natomas Boulevard Sewer Connection Project

Fall/Winter 2007	Construction Began
Status	The entire UNWI 1 & 2 alignment runs along the East Drainage Canal between the New Natomas Pump Station and Bridgecross Drive. As preliminary construction activities progress, activities will move north along the canal. Possible lane shifts and lane closures may be necessary where roads cross the alignment.
Fall 2008 - Spring 2010	Underground tunneling
Spring 2008 - Summer 2010	Manhole construction
Winter 2010	Construction expected to be complete
