More than $300 million in capital improvements are currently underway to expand the capacity at our Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant.

In 1992, the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District (SRCSD) embarked on its first 20-year Master Plan to identify the challenges presented by future community growth and ever-tightening environmental regulations. This plan is updated whenever necessary and undergoes a major revision approximately every five years.

SRCSD's solid financial position and favorable AA bond rating - equal to the strongest rating of any sanitation agency in California and among the strongest in the nation - allow us to finance capital improvements at the lowest interest rates possible.
