Walk On The Wildside is a celebration of the National Migratory Bird Day. This free, family-oriented event highlights local efforts to protect and restore Central Valley habitats. The day's activities includes tours, presentations, live animals, music, hands-on activities, informational exhibits, and more. Guided and self-guided tours are offered throughout the day. Explore a pristine valley oak riparian forest in search of migratory songbirds or visit numerous wetland and riparian restoration projects. If you participate in the Bufferlands guided tour, you can enjoy a unique opportunity to see one of only four heron rookeries in Sacramento County.

Here are some snapshots from past events. We hope to see you next year.
